Do I need a consultation before booking?

YES!!!  Consultations are required for all new clients.


This is where alignment happens. During your consultation:

  • You meet the loc artist behind the brand
  • We assess your hair’s health and readiness for locs
  • We discuss your previous hair care, lifestyle, texture, and loc goals
  • We explain the process, policies, pricing, and expectations
  • We confirm if we’re the right fit  * mutual trust matters *

Consultation format:

  • In-person required for Starter Locs, InstaLoxx, and Loc Extensions
  • Virtual (FaceTime/Zoom) for existing locs and all other services


Booking & Credit Card Policy


Why is a credit card required to book?

Cards are required to prevent last-minute cancellations and no-shows.


  • Cards are never charged without communication, unless policy is violated
  • Your card may be saved for faster checkout
  • Charges only occur if cancellation or NCNS policies apply

Deposits


Are deposits refundable?

No. Deposits are non-refundable.


  • Deposits apply to services 3 hours or longer
  • Amount: 50% of service total
  • Deposits may be transferred one (1) time to reschedule
  • Deposits are forfeited if cancellation policies are violated

A signed consent form is required before invoice payment.



Waitlist & Availability


What if my preferred date isn’t available?


Book the next available appointment, then add your preferred date/time in the booking notes.
This places you on our waitlist, and we’ll contact you if an opening becomes available.



Late Policy (Respect Goes Both Ways)


If you’re late

  • 7-minute grace period
  • After 7 minutes: $1 per minute, added to your final balance
  • Arrival 20+ minutes late may result in cancellation

If your loc artist is late

  • After 7 minutes: $1 per minute discount applied
  • Delays due to extended services are handled at the artist’s discretion


Cancellations & Rescheduling


Do you have cancellation fees?

Yes. To avoid fees, cancel or reschedule 48 hours prior to your appointment.


At the loc artist’s discretion, cancellations may result in:

  • Deposit forfeiture
  • $75 fee charged to card on file
  • $75 added to your next service
  • $75 payment required before rebooking


No Call / No Show (NCNS)


A NCNS occurs when there is no communication regarding your absence.

  • 10-minute courtesy window to contact your loc artist
  • Must arrive by 20 minutes past appointment time to avoid cancellation

If no communication is received:

  • Appointment is cancelled
  • Full service total is charged to card on file
  • A consultation is required before booking again

Failure to resolve NCNS fees may result in client ban.



Squeeze-Me-In + After hours Appointments


Squeeze-ins are booked directly with your loc artist and occur:

  • Outside normal business hours
  • Or when the schedule is adjusted to accommodate you

Additional Fees Apply:

TUES | WED | FRI | SAT

  • SQUEEZE ME IN:  $35
  • AFTER HOURS: $50

MON | THUR

  • SQUEEZE ME IN: $45 
  • AFTER HOURS: $75
SUN
  • AFTER HOURS: $100

Schedules open 60 days in advance to ensure fairness and quality.



Travel Services


Do you travel to clients?

Yes, travel services are available with a required consultation.


  • Minimum travel fee: $80
  • Travel outside DFW available for events
  • Consultation ensures proper accommodations and service quality
